Brydon Fish was estabished in 1980 and has since built a reputation on being a supplier of superb, high quality, fresh cod and haddock to the Wholesale trade.



The business was taken over as a going concern in April 2007 by Lee Durrans, with the previous owner retiring due to ill health. Keeping the existing staff with over 200 years cumulative experience of the fishing industry was a major factor in the purchase.


Adding to this Lee Durrans has 21 years experience as a buyer and salesman for Marr Foods, W Simpson and Rainbow Seafoods and has a working knowledge of the fishing industry worldwide, supplies are now sourced, not only from the Humber Fish auctions, but direct from the Faroe Islands, Norway and Russia.



Frozen-at-Sea Cod and Haddock, defrosted and filleted is a speciality of Brydons, offering a fresher than fresh alternative. This is ideal for fish & chip shops as it gives a constant flavour, quality and price.



More recently we have also diversified into the supply of: Plaice, Lemon Sole, Redfish and Monkfish. The processing skills where already in place so why not !!
